Month: November 2015

If you haven’t already caught on, I live for black lipstick. Sometimes though, I want to mix it up a bit so I add other products on top of my black lipstick to create more interesting variations of the black lip. This also saves me from having to buy several different lipsticks or products; I can just work with what I already have.

So I wear my hair in braids whilst I wait for my dreadlocks to grow, but there are some days where I like to switch it up and wrap up my hair. My scarf collection is ridiculous, but I have picked a few of my favourites so I can show you a few different ways that I like to wrap up my hair. Some of these are quite common, but I have a few looks that I kind of freestyle sometimes.

I love to incorporate animal prints and textures into my outfits and fur is definitely one of my favourites. This week, I have 3 looks for you that you could try. The main differences between the outfits are the jackets (duh) and the shoes as well as some of the styling options.

The base outfit consists of black trousers and a few different black tops. I think everyone owns these items, which is why I love fur jackets; they do enough on their own so you don’t have to do a lot.

This is one of my favourite outfits to wear because I feel like a massive baddie when I am in it. Of course I don’t wear 7 inch platforms to college, especially with fishnets, wouldn’t want to get anyone pregnant, haha. What I usually do is wear it with black boots and knee high socks (over the fish nets) just to tone it down a bit. For the most part, people will have something to say no matter what you do, so I try to disregard opinions as much as I can, but at the same time, there’s a time and place and I understand that.

My everyday¬†look consists of glowing skin, a barely-there neutral eye and bold¬†lips. I seldom wear the same look everyday, but I wear black lipstick all the time and my skin routine never changes. I wear false lashes sometimes, but lately I have been going natural because it’s winter now, meaning it’s harder to get out of bed which leaves me with less time to get ready. For the sake of the ‘everyday’ element, I wont wear the lashes, but stay tuned for more diverse How To’s in the future.

DISCLAIMER: I am not, nor will I ever be a makeup artist. This is just what I do to survive, you know!
